At UC Merced, I partnered with a nonprofit to promote CLAS (Culturally and Linguistically Appropriate Services) standards, grounding my journey in culturally responsive care. At UCSF, I researched iPad use in inpatient settings—discovering the transformative potential of tech to support connection. During my MPH at Touro, I led cervical cancer research in Ethiopia and spearheaded community health education.

Co-founder, Alma First – Digital Health Equity in Practice

Co-led the redesign and facilitation of Alma First’s curriculum, guiding four cohorts of pre-health students to become compassionate digital health navigators. Our work amplified access—telehealth adoption among Latinx patients jumped markedly—by centering cultural humility and patient empowerment.
